Types of power in my community

Power over others:

1. The chairman of a company has the power over all people who work for his company.He has the power to decide who is working for his company or not.




2. University authority has the power over teachers.




3. A policeman has the power over criminals.




4. Educantion ministry has the power over all educational institutions.Because all the educational institution have to maintain the education ministry rules.




5. Our hostel super has the power over all the girls who are staying in her hostel.All the girls have to listen her and maintain her rules.




6. A teacher has power over the students.

The power to realize desire or needs:

1. Everyone has the power to realize their desire or needs.Like i have the power to decide what is good for me or not or i have the power to eat what i want to.
   

Cooperative power:

1. Cooperative power exists between my mom and dad.Both of them are doing job and earing money for me and our family. Our family is well maintained because both of them are cooperative.

Power of being:

1. My mother is a headmaster of a highschool ,so that she has the power to take any decision for the school.
2. My father is a main earning member of our family and he is also more responsible than other members.So that he has the right to take any decision of the family and he has the right to set rules for the family members.

Impersonal power relations:

1. Telephone bill,electric bill,cable bill have to be paid on time otherwise we have to give late fine or they disconnect the lines.



2. University fees have to paid at time otherwise we have to give late fine otherwise teacher dont give permission to sit for exam.



3. We have to pay tax when we bring electronic things from abroad.

Stereotypes

Stereotype:Stereotype is over-simplified ideas or common ideas that fixed in our mind about a particular group of people.It can be negative or positive ideas impression.Stereotype comes from the greek word 'stereos',it means solid and 'tupos',it means impression.

Stereotypes of Indians:

1. Indians are very intelligent and hardworking.


2. Indians are very patriotic. They show their patriotism through the tv serials and movies and other media sources.
   
3. Indians are modern but they never forget their cultures,traditions even they stay outside from the country.They always maintain their cultures and traditions.They always keep in touch to india anyhow.
4. India is a multi-cultural and multi-religious country.They respect all religion and culture.They enjoy all the religious and cultural festivals
5. Indians are very religious but they are not conservative.
6. Indians are very hospitable and welcomed.They treat the guests like god.
7. Indians believe in democracy system and they are politically very powerful.
8. Indians are educated people.Most of the people are literate.
9. Indians are fluent in english.Most of the cities,english is the first language for indians.
10. India is one land where you see the whole world.
11. India has hundred nations and hundred languages.
12. Indian girls are very beautiful.

Stereotypes of Pakistanis:

1. Pakistanis are very Conservative.Most of the people are muslim.
2. Pakistanis are love to eat meet
3. Pakistanis are terrorist.
4. Pakistanis are violent,agressive.they involve with violence,crime and terrorism.
5. Pakistani males are tall,handsome and physically they are strong.
6. Pakistanis are very arrogant.

Stereotypes of Bangladeshis:

1. Bangladeshi people are poor.Most of the people live below poverty level.


2. Bangladeshi people are very fond of ease and comfort.They are very lazy.So that is why still Bangladesh is a developing country, not developed country.


3. Bangladeshi people are very hospitable and friendly.


4. Bangladeshis are the first people who fought for their language and they won.


5. Bangladeshis are very emotional with their family.They always give the first priority to their famity.Family is everything for them.In north bengal people cant live without their family.Like if anyone got job in chittagong,then some months later he transferred to north where he lives, even sometimes he resign from his job because of his emotion for his family.
6. Bangladesh is a seasonal country.There are six seasons in Bangladesh.Bangladehis always enjoy the six seasons.
7. Bangladesh is a agricultural country.Most of the people depend on agriculture.
8. Bangladeshis are illitarate people.
9. Bangladeshis are backward.

Some common stereotypes that Bangladeshi people have:

2. Every foreigner are rich.
3. Americans are very rich.
